* When choosing "I will be enrolling as..." 
First Year: This will be your first-year attending any college (and you will not be a high school student at time of enrollment).
Reapplying: You attended this college previously and/or the college has instructed you to select "Reapplying." 
Running Start: You are a high school student planning to enroll in Running Start. Running Start is only for high school students. 
Transfer: You earned credit at another college and will request the college to which you are applying evaluate your coursework for transfer credit.
International: If you are enrolling with an F, J, or M-1 visa, please do not do the regular admissions application. Please see this link, instead: https://intl.seattlecolleges.edu/
 
For applying for Bachelor's degrees: While the term Baccalaureate (Bachelor's degree) appears under a program type, you cannot apply for a Bachelor's degree using the general admissions application. You will first need to apply for the associates degree most closely related to the type of Bachelor's degree you are pursuing so that you can be admitted for general admissions. You will then need to consult with your advisor or program plan website for the secondary application for the bachelor's degree after we have processed your initial general admissions application.

* Your admissions application is valid for three years. You do not need to submit a new admissions application if you delay your start quarter as long as you applied within the last three years.

If you are a transfer student looking to bring credits from other college(s) to your academic plan at Seattle College, please send your official transcripts via Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, or through your academic institution (have transcripts sent to Credentials.Central@seattlecolleges.edu). You may also bring an official transcript in a sealed envelope to the admissions window in BE 1104. Unofficial transcripts - transcripts that are not directly sent from an academic institution - are not considered official and cannot be used for an incoming transcript evaluation. Use ctcLink ID to activate ctcLink (personal student) account

* Review and update your preferred name   
* Review and update your contact information (email, phone number, address)

Use ctcLink ID and password to create MySeattleColleges login and password

* ctcLink ID is your student ID number   
* MySeattleCollege is your student username   
* Your student email (generally firstname.lastname@seattlecolleges.edu) will not work until you enroll in a class

Use MySeattleColleges login to access and familiarize yourself with Starfish

* Starfish is where you connect with student support (ie. schedule appointments with an advisor)

Use ctcLink ID and password to access and familiarize yourself with Canvas

* Canvas is where you find and interact with your classes (ie. materials from your instructor and new student orientation)

Save the student account reference guide for easy account access

Confirm when and where your classes are happening 

Locate and review all your classes' syllabi in Canvas

* Syllabi are typically in Canvas 1-2 weeks before classes begin
* Some class syllabi and modules will not appear in Canvas until the first day of class

Mandatory New Student Orientation

Students will also need to complete a mandatory New Student Orientation that can be done online at their own pace. All first-term, degree and certificate-seeking students before the end of their first quarter who are active and matriculated must complete this orientation. Students in the following programs are exempt from this requirement: Running Start, Promise, International Programs, Basic & Transitional Studies, Bachelor’s Degrees, Apprenticeship/Pre-Apprenticeship, and Academy of Rising Educator. This course will be available two weeks before the start of the quarter and students will be notified via email once this is available. An in-person orientation is also hosted quarterly, allowing students to take a tour of campus, meet their peers, connect with advisors, and attend workshops.

Learn your options for commuting to campus 

Get your Seattle Central Photo I.D. card

* You will need to be enrolled in courses (for example, Biology, Math, English, Culinary, etc.) before you can obtain a Seattle Central College photo I.D. card. I.D. cards cost ten dollars ($10) which can be paid at the Cashier. Take your receipt from the Cashier to the Photo I.D. center next to financial aid in BE 1104, enrollment services lobby.
