Travel Study - How to Enroll

Apply to the college

Scroll down and click on the ‘Apply Now’ button. Once you submit your application, you will automatically receive an email from Seattle Central Admissions with an application number. You are admitted once you receive a “Welcome’ email from Admissions with your ctcLink (student) ID. This welcome letter will be sent to the email address you used on the application within 5 business days from applying. Sometimes these emails end up in spam/junk folders, so be sure to check there. Since it is likely you will only enroll in one of the travel/study courses (and will not pursue a degree at Seattle Central), you should indicate you are a ‘non-degree seeking’ student.

Please note: You will not be required to submit transcripts, take the placement tests, or attend an orientation.

All students receive ctcLink and MySeattleColleges accounts for access to online services. You must activate your ctcLink account first, then use your ctcLink credentials to set-up your MySeattleColleges account. For information on how to do this, go to ctcLink Prospective and New Students.

Register for the travel/study course after your accounts have been activated. Complete the enrollment application (pdf) and email it to the address listed below. Payment must accompany your enrollment application.

Payment can be made with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express, or by check or money order (payable to Seattle Central College).

If paying by credit card, please use the credit card authorization form (pdf).

Instructions for completing the Enrollment Application:

  2. Complete Section 2: Write in the course you wish to register for in the course section (example: SSC 297) and the number of credits you wish to register for (5 or 10) in the credits section. The remaining information in this section will be completed by office staff at Seattle Central.
