New Student Orientation

Welcome Tiger!

We are grateful you've chosen Seattle Central for this next chapter and appreciate the opportunity to support you in acheiving your goals! By now, you have been admitted, applied for Financial Aid (FAFSA/WASFA), and completed placement. If you have not done so and have questions or concerns, please contact the Admissions + Entry Navigator at

Your next step is to complete New Student Orientation. New Student Orientation will prepare you for your first quarter on campus by connecting you with services, resources, and tools for success!

Notice: New Student Orientation is now offered online as part of the college’s response to COVID-19. We look forward to welcoming students back for in-person New Student Orientation in Fall 2022. Stay tuned!

Bypassing New Student Orientation

Running Start, Seattle Promise, International Education, and Basic and Transitional Studies (ABE, ESL, and GED®) have separate orientations. If you are enrolled in these programs, you are welcome but not required to participate in New Student Orientation.

If you have taken classes at North Seattle College or South Seattle College or have already earned an associate or bachelor's degree, you are eligible to bypass the New Student Orientation.
