Veterans Services Student Life
Student Veterans Association
The Student Veterans Union (SVU), a chapter of the National Student Veterans of America, serves and assists students at Seattle Central, who have served in the military or who are a dependent of a veteran. The SVU can help you:
- Learn about veterans benefits
- Network with other veterans
- Provide opportunities for student development and community service
- Support the transition from military to college life
The SVU supports and promotes the community of veterans on our campus by holding meetings, hosting events, coordinating activities and connecting members to the resources they need. Veterans of other countries are also welcome. Contact Student Leadership if you have questions or concerns.
Veterans Lounge
We invite you to visit the Veterans Lounge, which is located in the Broadway Edison (BE) building room BE3210C. The Veterans Lounge is a dedicated place for veterans to gather, study, connect and network.
Due to COVID-19 the Veterans Resource Center will be operating remotely for the upcoming quarter. We are available via email and can set up online or phone meetings if needed. You can also drop into the Veteran Zoom lounge.
Student Lounge Monday thru Friday 7am-5pm.
