Ensure Learning

Ensure Learning is Seattle Central College’s approach to assessment and program review. Ensure Learning is a process that guides faculty to regularly reflect on student learning and implement changes to improve student success. Ensure Learning consists of Ensure Learning Reports and Ensure Learning Reviews. More information is available in the Ensure Learning SharePoint (seattlecolleges login required).

Ensure Learning Reports

Faculty document their assessments of student learning outcomes on Ensure Learning Reports. The following chart shows the process of completing an Ensure Learning plan and report:

Ensure Learning Reviews

Programs and disciplines reflect on their work together every three years. Ensure Learning Reviews include reviews of curricula, student success data, learning outcomes assessments, program accomplishments and goals.  Departments may choose to forgo submitting Ensure Learning Reports during their review years to focus on their reviews.  See the Ensure Learning Review Schedule (seattlecolleges login required)
