Academic Advising Center
Are you studying to earn an associate’s degree and transfer to another college? Or, are you in a career training or professional-technical program? Our advisors are here to help you with your educational goals and plans. Please see our Meet with an Advisor page to connect with the advising team.
If you are new to Seattle Central, you should first apply to the college and be admitted. After admission, review the New Student Checklist included in your admissions email for recommended next steps, including Online New Student Orientation and how to connect with an advisor.
Meeting with an advisor is an important step in the enrollment process, and the checklist includes information on how to schedule an appointment or access drop-in advising. You can also get information on how to connect with an advisor here.
If you are undecided about your program or career goals, First Year & Career Services can also meet with you — even before you register — to help you explore your options and clarify your next steps.
Once you’re fully enrolled, you’ll be able to schedule appointments with us through Starfish under “Academic Advising-Central”. If this is your first time using Starfish, please read our guide.
