About Me

Brandon was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, and graduated with his B.A. in Psychology & Sociology with a minor in Education from the University of North Carolina. After college, Brandon moved to South Florida and joined AmeriCorps as a Graduation Coach for the Palm Beach County School District. Soon after, he served as the Director of College Retention for Take Stock in Children in Palm Beach and assisted at-risk, low-income, first-generation students enroll and matriculate through college and complete their degrees. Brandon is excited to continue his passion at Seattle Central College as the Assistant Director of Advising & Transfer and help students reach their educational goals. Over the years, Brandon has gained a strong dedication to mentoring, advising, and coaching students. As a result, he felt that Seattle Central College was the perfect institution to begin his journey working directly in higher education. As the Assistant Director of Advising & Transfer, Brandon is passionate about helping advise & guide students to achieve their academic, professional, and personal pursuits.

When I am not working, I am...

On his days off, Brandon loves being active, doing CrossFit, traveling, hiking, listening to music, collecting vinyl records, playing board games/video games, and trying different foods and coffee.
