Meet Paola:

Paola was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She went to Highline College to complete her associate of arts degree, then transferred to the University of Washington Seattle, where she got a bachelor's in Political Science and did a minor in Law, Societies, and Justice. As a first-generation student, Paola knew from first-hand experience how crucial it was to have a strong support system in college. She discovered a passion for working with students, and after graduation, she became a college advisor. She became a CARES advisor and a TRIO advisor at Highline college, where she served first-generation and low-income students to transfer to 4-year universities. Paola hopes to continue her passion for working in education by supporting students.

When done with work, Paola loves spending time with her dog Oso. She also enjoys exploring Washington through hiking, taking road trips with friends and family, watching movies, and listening to music and audiobooks.
