About Running Start
The Running Start Office will be offering virtual services only on Wednesday, June 24; Wednesday, July 1; and Monday, July 6 in anticipation of heavy traffic and staff absences for the World Cup games. We will offer virtual drop-ins 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday. All virtual drop-ins will be held in our Zoom meeting room.
The Running Start Office will be fully closed on Friday, June 26th and Friday, July 3rd.
The Running Start program allows students in their junior or senior year of high school to attend community college tuition-free within the state of Washington while completing their high school curriculum. College courses completed as part of Running Start provide credit both for the student’s high school graduation requirements as well as their future college course requirements, giving them a head start on their college education.
