Seattle Central Dental Programs
Seattle Central College offers three dental career pathways. The Dental Assisting certificate provides CODA-accredited instruction, labs, and 300+ hours of real clinical experience that prepares students to take the Certified Dental Assisting (CDA) exam. The Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) certificate is designed for working dental assistants to gain licensure in direct restorations to expand their scope. The Dental Hygiene program is a CODA-accredited 2-year BAS that prepares students for licensure with hands-on training in preventive care and expanded skills.
