Food

The Seattle Central College food pantry is accessible to students on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students should come to the Harvard Entrance on Harvard and Olive for pickup. Once they arrive, they should call 206.934.4007 for staff to bring food support to them. They will need student ID to verify that they attend the college. Students enrolled for fall quarter are eligible for assistance.

Food banks are doing disbursements at the same times they usually do; most have moved to distributing pre-packed bags to go. Check with them for times and dates.

Childcare: Boys & Girls Club of King County will provide child care at nine locations around the Seattle metro area. In King County, Boys and Girls Clubs will be extending hours and programs at 12 of its centers as an option to families looking for a place to turn. Families with memberships currently pay a $50 monthly fee and then $25 per day per child. For teens, there is no additional daily fee. Scholarships are available.
