Data Set #050 - updated in May 2016 At this webpage you can download state-by-state temperature and precipitation data in the Excel (*.xls) format. Corresponding weather station information is also provided in Excel format. These QELP data sets reflect the latest (version 2.5.5) data available from the United States Historic Climate Network (USHCN) as of May 16, 2016. Note#1: USHCN now posts temperature values in degrees Celsius and precipitation values in millimeters. Note#2: USHCN no longer provides annual mean temperatures and total precipitation values. Consequently, we have calculated these annual values by averaging monthly values. In years in which monthly values are missing, the annual values are indicated as missing as well.
