Services in the College Transfer & Study Abroad Center

We help you with:

• Planning the steps to transfer
• Finding the right college for you
• Understanding the admissions process
• Personal statement review*
• Volunteering or studying abroad through Seattle Central

We plan transfer workshops, coordinate transfer fairs and events and offer informational sessions about studying abroad. Our office has internet access, college catalogs, transfer guides, and books to research four-year universities. We can answer questions you have about the transfer process or help plan your experience abroad.

*Personal statement help is offered via appointment or email. Statements must be emailed to the Transfer Center in advance at TransferCenter@seattlecolleges.edu. Please allow 3-4 business days to complete the review.

Please note: The Transfer Center will only review your personal statement once, so it is best to send your final draft. You can also visit the Bruce McKenna Writing Center in the Seattle Central Library for assistance with your personal statement.
