Campus Optical

The school offers a full service retail optical shop with solutions to all your eyewear needs. Students receive special discounts for exams and eyewear.

Eye exams are available from a Washington State licensed Optometrist. Education for better vision is their goal and provided by second year students under the supervision of faculty / LDO's. Call for hours or to schedule an eye exam appointment.

Career Services Center

The Career Services Center provides up-to-date career information from a database of all careers in Washington State. If you are undecided about your future, there are career assessments available free of charge.

Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center

The Mitchell Activity Center provides an environment that offers diverse activities to the campus and the general community to promote healthy lifestyles and recreational programs.

Computer Center

The Seattle Central Computer Center has printers, 165 PCs, and 16 Macintosh computers available for both open lab and classroom use. You must be a registered student to use the facilities.

Cooperative Education

The Cooperative Education Office provides students with the resources to obtain a job, internship, volunteer opportunity, and service learning experiences.

Cosmetology Services

The School of Cosmetology offers a wide range of services at a reasonable cost. The full service salon offers many services including haircuts, hairstyling, manicures, pedicures, facials and much more.

Students under the supervision of licensed instructors perform all services under safe and sanitary conditions.

Library and Media Services

The Library and Media Services are located in BE 2101. Resources include collections of books and e-books, periodicals, DVD's, CD's, online databases, and internet access.

M. Rosetta Hunter Art Gallery

Serving the Seattle Central community since 1992, the gallery features displays that contribute toward the educational and cultural activity on campus. The gallery enhances the academic goals of the college by providing learning opportunities for entire classrooms of students.

Multicultural Services

Seattle Central attracts a culturally diverse population of students who are supported by many offices in achieving their academic goals. Multicultural Services promotes institutional responsiveness to the needs of students of color and students of diverse cultural backgrounds.

Service Learning Program

This program offers course-related academic credit opportunities on a per-course basis where the faculty combines classroom learning with community service activities.

The Erickson Theatre

The Erickson Theatre houses the Seattle Central Drama Program where a range of classes and avenues of study are offered. The drama curriculum gives students the opportunity to take a full range of classes through learning communities, as well as an opportunity to gain practical experience in all aspects of the dramatic performing arts.
