Curriculum Coordinating Council

Program Review Membership

Members of the committees contribute their insight, knowledge, and common sense to the curriculum process. They provide feedback and support which helps develop courses and programs that meet student needs and maintains the standards of excellence and diversity for which Seattle Central is known. A balance of representatives from each instructional division encourages wide participation and provides opportunities for communication and collaboration across disciplines. Committee work requires some time outside of meetings to review course and program information.

Each quarter, the PRC reviews one to four academic programs. Each academic program prepares a written report that commitee members read and which becomes the basis for an oral program review meeting with the dean and faculty members from the program. Committee members contribute questions and comments before the oral review and participate in the review. Members offer insight, suggestions and support for the academic program.

Committee members rotate the responsibility to chair program reviews.
