Our Restaurants
Seattle Culinary Academy students operate two full service restaurants and a "Chef's Express" lunch line that are open to the public. Our students train in every position in each restaurant kitchen and dining room. The restaurants are open for lunch Tuesday through Friday and offer beautifully prepared meals at an excellent price. Entrees, including soup or salad, range in price from $4.95 to $6.50. Due to the school schedule, our restaurants are closed several weeks of the year so please check our current hours of operation. The last two weeks of each quarter, the restaurants features a different menu each day planned and prepared by the graduating students. These "Chef of the Day" lunches fill up fast so reservations are recommended. Call (206)587-5424 for reservations or more information.

Square One Bistro features seasonal northwest cuisine, which combines our outstanding fresh local ingredients with a variety of international flavors. The menu changes every two weeks and includes specialties like: Seared Wild Sturgeon with Carrot-Fennel Cream and Grilled Zucchini; Sautéed Sea Scallop and Grilled Vegetable Napoleon; Seared Duck Breast with Balsamic-Rhubarb Compote and Wild Rice-Chive Pancakes; Grilled Rosemary Lamb Skewer with Sweet Potato Gratin and Asparagus; Salmon Cakes with Root Vegetable Chips and Cucumber Slaw.

One World Dining

The One World Dining Room features a variety of authentic international cuisines. Menus change every two weeks and include French, Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Latino, and Pacific Rim specialties. The students in One World are studying fine dining service techniques and prepare some meals tableside. Please check out our current menu and hours of operation.

The Buzz

Baked goods and pastries at "The Buzz" are made by students of the Specialty Desserts and Breads program. Selections include a variety of breakfast pastries, European pastries, cakes, cookies, mousses, tarts, créme brulee, chocolates, and a large selection of rustic artisan breads.
