About the Program

Renowned by design professionals, Seattle Central College's Graphic Design program focuses not only on fundamental design skills, but it also integrates emerging technologies and keeps students current by continually evolving and responding to industry needs and standards. While enrolled, you will train in one of the most advanced creative arts facilities in the state that features integrated classes and shared resources, plus studios and labs that simulate real-world, professional environments. What’s more, the faculty incorporates the equipment and workflow of professional design studios into the curriculum.

Seattle Central’s Graphic Design program focuses not just on design fundamentals, but also on the cutting-edge tech skills that employers value most. You’ll be well-prepared to find work immediately after graduation, in areas including (but not limited to):

In addition to finding success with more traditional employers, many of our graduates choose to work on a freelance basis or to start their own businesses.
