Programs

The Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center offers a variety of credit and non-credit classes. When credit classes are in session, members are to vacate the area. Non-Credit Classes are free for members on a walk-in basis.

Flow Yoga: The benefits of yoga include improved posture, circulation, breathing and flexibility. Regular yoga practice can lead to increased strength, stress relief, and enhanced self-awareness. This class is open to all members and all levels of fitness

Total Body Conditioning : This unique class will incorporate various exercise equipment to give you a great full body workout. Hand weight, large exercise balls and floor based exercises will be combined to challenge your strength, flexibility and balance. In addition to a great over all body workout you will also learn the fundamental aspect of self defense (great for those wanting to learn how to protect themselves from various forms of attacks and real life situations).

The Mitchell Activity Center will offer spring quarter 2009 activities to any interested student. All activities will be offered and scheduled based on the availability and interest of the students. Activities such as Ping Pong, Badminton, Basketball and Pool will be made available in a tournament or league format depending on the number of students or teams interested. Clubs may be started by applying for club status at the Student Leadership office.
