Policies
Code of Conduct
- Respect Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center facility and equipment.
- No violent or aggressive behavior.
- No foul or intimidating behavior.
- Show good sportsmanship.
- Be courteous of others - show respect for the privacy and property of others.
- Wear appropriate attire in each area of the facility.
- Adhere to all Seattle Central Community College and Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center policies, rules and regulations.
- Report any discrepancies of the code of conduct to a Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center attendant of supervisor.
Entry Policy
- All patrons of the Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center must adhere to the Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center Code of Conduct. Any individual who chooses not to adhere to the code or not follow the recreation policies will be subject to loss of all recreation privileges.
- A valid Seattle Central Community College ID or photo ID must presented to enter the Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center.
- Illegal use of ID cards will result in card confiscation and expulsion from the facility.
- Only credit card or check may be used to any Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center transaction. Cash is not accepted (only at Cashier).
- Any member who sponsors a guest(s) must pay for his/her guest(s). Payment from guest(s) will not be accepted.
- Members/users of the Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center must be 18 years or older in order to gain access.
- Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center is a smoke free building.
- Absolutely no food or drink are allowed. Exception: Water in a non-breakable container.
Locker Policy
- Students may rent a locker on a quarterly basis. A deadline to renew or vacate the locker will be posted.
- Community Member's locker rentals require a two (2) month minimum. The locker will expire when your membership does regardless of when it was issued.
- When lockers are sold out, a waiting list for all members will be established.
- Members must pre-pay the locker fee to be placed on the waiting list in order to be issued a locker.
- Any pre-paid locker fee will be refunded if a locker is not issued.
- Members may renew a locker at any time during their membership. Renewal paperwork must be filled out at the Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center Front Desk or Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center Equipment Room in order for renewal to be valid.
- When vacating your locker, empty the contents but leave the lock on the vacated locker.
- Failure to renew or vacate your locker by the posted deadline of individual expiration date will result in bagging contents or locker, stored for 30 days before being disposed.
