Meta Search Engines


A Meta search engine is a search engine that searches other search engines and combines all the results. They can be useful in reducing the amount of effort spent searching multiple search engine, but they do have their down sides.

  • Not all search engines are covered by Meta Search Engines

  • They may limit that amount of results you are able to retrieve

  • Advanced search features may not be available or work with all the engines being searched
