The Libraries recognize information literacy as a critical skill that enables students to succeed, both academically and professionally. Information literacy is the ability to recognize when information is needed, and to locate, evaluate, and use information effectively. Research Passport will provide students with a foundation for developing these information literacy skills.
Research Passport will support our learning outcomes for students by fostering independent inquiry, active learning, and life-long learning.
The District Libraries strive to be accessible to all students. The interactive online format will provide better access for on-campus and remote users. Specified learning outcomes will be consistent with the instructional goals of the District Libraries and the Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education.Posted by passport_team on November 14, 2003 at 12:05 PM
