Each division or department has a person responsible for faculty and staff e-mail account management. Please contact your division office. When your account is established, contact the helpdesk (NEED) for assistance in logging in and using the account.
- How do I set up my faculty web page?
First you must request an account by filling out an Account Request Form. You can design and build your web page or use The Weberator, a web page generator tool. When you have finished building your website, it should be uploaded to your web account. If you built your own website then you need to FTP your page to your web account. For more information on the secure FTP process please see the FTP instructions. If you used The Weberator you do not need to FTP your site, as The Weberator uploads your website for you.
Once your site has been uploaded then you need to add a link to your site from the Faculty Pages List. to get your page linked.
If you would like help with building your web page contact the Faculty Computer Consultant, Maria Ales, at 206-587-5446.
- How do I reserve time in a computer classroom for my class?
Most computer classrooms are reserved during the preparation of quarterly schedules when divisions submit lists of computer-using classes and schedules are created. For occasional or one-time use, or to add a class that did not originally include use of a computer lab, contact Harriet Wasserman at 206 344-4344, or hwasse@sccd.ctc.edu.
