IEP Workshops

IEP-sponsored workshops are designed to assist students with their personal and career development.
The workshops will provide information about immigration rules, education and career choices, cultural adjustment and other issues. The format will be a combination of speakers, handouts, assessments and discussion, with time for questions and answers.

American Internship Experience Information Session

Learn how to: Earn credit, learn valuable skills, intern/volunteer for local businesses.
Eligibility for Level Four and above. Come to the following session:

Employment Workshop

Come and learn about the different employment options for international students, including on-campus jobs and Optional Practical Training (OPT).

Graduation Workshop

Stop by and learn about how to transfer to another college when you graduate, the 60 day grace period, OPT, and lots more!

High School Completion Workshop

Learn about how you can earn your High School diploma while attending Seattle Central! We will discuss the requirements and go over everything you need to know to get started with high school completion!

Scholarships Workshop

Do you want to learn about the different scholarships that are available for international students and how to apply for them? If so, come to our workshop! We’ll tell you about the different scholarships that are available and give you tips on how to get them!

Transfer Fair Preparation Workshop

If you are interested in attending the Transfer Fair and plan to transfer to another college or university, come to the Transfer Fair Preparation Workshop to learn what questions to ask and how to make the most of the Transfer Fair.

Housing Workshop

Are you interested in finding an apartment? Do you have problems living with your roommate or want to know how to find good housing in Seattle? If so, come to the Housing Workshop!
