Afterwards I will take the Certified Public Accounting exam, and get a couple of years of work experience in the accounting field before going to law school
5. Do you think Seattle Central is helping you achieve your goals? Why or why not?
I think Seattle Central helped me achieve my goals because of the exposure that it gave me to various academic fields that have nothing at all to do with my major, such as astronomy, psychology, philosophy and biology
6. How would you describe Seattle?
Seattle has unpredictable weather but it has nice summers that aren't humid. Seattle has so many scenic places and a lot of friendly people!
7. How would you describe Seattle Central Community College?
I would describe Seattle Central as having its own United Nations because of the many people from different countries that I have met. Every single one of my instructors has been exceptional and I have really enjoyed my stay at Seattle Central.
8. What are the biggest differences between life in your country and life in Seattle?
The biggest difference is the amount of poverty that is found in Zimbabwe and in most African countries. Another big difference is the US$ and the Zim$ which was 1 US$ being equivalent to $6000 Zim dollars. The weather is also another notable difference. Zimbabwe only has 2 months of winter
9. Is there anything else you’d like to say to prospective students in your country who might be reading this?
I just wanted to let you all know that the International Students Office is really wonderful. Every single person in that office has been so helpful and kind during my entire stay at Seattle Central. If you ever have any problems or questions, you should go to them because they know the best!
