My program of study is "Specialties Breads and Desserts".

5. Do you think Seattle Central is helping you achieve your goals? Why or why not?
Seattle Central and its Culinary Academy Department are helping me a lot to achieve my goals.
The great professional instructors, the practicum classes in bake shop and the theory classes
contribute to my knowledge and understanding of the Pastry field tremendously .
6. How would you describe Seattle?
Seattle is a beautiful, charming city surrounded by an amazing landscape.
It easy to get around the city, meet interesting people, and enjoy the lovely culture
and night life which the city has to offer. It is a diverse city where every person
can find a unique social group to hang out with, and feel comfortable living in a foreign city.
7. How would you describe Seattle Central Community College?
It is a nice, alive college in the middle of a lovely urban environment.
The college offers a variety of good programs to choose from, has friendly good instructors
and multicultural students which make the college very interesting and a pleasant place to study at.
8. What are the biggest differences between life in your country and life in Seattle?
Seattle is a very peaceful, quiet place compared to my country, Israel,
where a lot of political/security issues are taking place in the people's daily lives.
The weather is an extreme difference-Israel is a hot, sunny country while
in Seattle is much colder and it rains a lot.
This Kind of weather gives Seattle its (her) own unique atmosphere and beauty.
9. Is there anything else you'd like to say to prospective students in your country who might be reading this?
I definitely would like to encourage prospective students from my country to come to
Seattle and study at SCCC. It is a great experience to live and study in a beautiful and lovely
place like Seattle. Living in Seattle and taking advantage of SCCC excellent programs, its friendly staff and its incredible student life, can be a major contribution in the success of International students future career.
