Back to introduction
1. What is your full name?
Alexey Korolev.
2. What country do you come from?
Russia.
3. How long have you lived in the United States?
5 months.
4. What is your favorite place in Seattle?
Green Lake Park. I have been there just a couple of times and I loved this place. I was there on the ceremony Luminaria in December, when the whole lake was decorated with candles. It was marvelous: lighted candles and people walking around the lake and singing Christmas carols made a really festive mood.
5. What do you enjoy most about SCCC?
I like many different things in SCCC. But most of all, I enjoy the supportive atmosphere in classes and on campus. You feel that you belong to this community and that thought really helps to get along with people and to be successful in your studies.
6. What are your plans for the future?
My future plans are unsettled yet. For a start, I am planning to get high scores on the TOEFL and GMAT tests to get into an MBA program.
7. What are the biggest differences between life in your country and life in Seattle?
Comparing Moscow and Seattle, I would say that Seattle is much more comfortable place. In Moscow, with almost 20 million people, I feel sometimes packed like sardines.
8. What do you consider to be your biggest accomplishments? Why?
My biggest accomplishment is that I am studying at SCCC. I consider it to be my biggest accomplishment, because it is a real challenge for me: I did a lot to get here and now I do my best to study excellently.
