Full-Time Requirements

DHS requires that students must register for a minimum of 12 credit hours per quarter. (Please note that the institute of English requires all full-time ESL students to enroll for 4 hours of class per day, 5 days a week to complete the program).

Enrollment for less than 12 credit hours at any time will put a student in violation of status. This includes the following:

• A Withdrawal (W) from a particular course, with remaining credits less than 12;
• An "N" grade (audit) for a course, with remaining credits less than 12;
• Enrollment in Distance Learning courses, with less than 9 credits of regular, on-campus courses.
