In order to receive a high school diploma in Washington State, students will have to take the following subjects (Please note: these requirements are the minimum required by Washington State for the high school diploma. Some universities may require more preparation to admit a student with only a high school diploma):

English 15 credits
Washington State History   5 credits
US History 10 credits
Fine Arts   5 credits
Contemporary World Problems   5 credits
Mathematics 10 credits
Science   5 credits
Lab Science   5 credits
Vocational Education   5 credits
Physical Education   2 credits
Health (Not Physical Education)   5 credits
Electives 23 credits
TOTAL: 95 credits
