STCW/USCG Approved License Training Program
USCG in lieu of exam course:
- Upon successful completion of the course the student will have satisfied both the U.S. and international
training requirements for the issuance of a certificate as proficient in survival craft and the U.S. endorsements
as lifeboatman.
Requirements:
Lifeboatman course fullfills the requirements for Standards of Training, Certification of Watchkeeping (STCW 95).
Testing:
All testing is done with Seattle Maritime Academy. You DO NOT test with the Coast Guard.
Certification:
Upon successful completion, attendance and passing required exams, you will recieve a Seattle Maritime Academy Certificate
of Training.
Times of Instruction:
0800 - 1630
Mon. - Thurs.
Tuition:
- The course is $550.00
- A $100 administrative fee (check or money order) is required at the time of registration. Payable to the Seattle
Maritime Academy.
- Tuition is due by the first day of class.
Textbook:
A textbook is included in the cost of the course and you will recieve it on the first day of the class.
