Principles of Agroecology
An Introduction to Sustainable Agriculture

This course is a survey of sustainable agriculture with particular attention to the Pacific Northwest. We'll explore crop biodiversity, weed and pest management, livestock production, and organic crop propagation. In addition, issues such as water use and pollution, natural resource conservation and energy use will be presented in the context of sustainable farms.
