Cardinal and Label Numbers

Signing numbers #1-5: When do I sign it with palm in (facing me) and when is the palm facing out??  

Cardinal numbers are numbers used in counting to indicate quantity (how many).

How many cars?            3 cars
                                        (Signed with "3" palm in)

How many students?     4 students
                                                (Signed with "4" palm in)

One student left.         (#1 signed palm in)              

Label numbers indicate the number itself.

Car number 2 is red.        CAR  #3    RED
                                         (Signed with "3" palm out)

See car number 1?          SEE   CAR  #1
                                         (Signed with "l" palm out)
