TMP—III Transition
Math Project Summer Math Institute 2007 at the Sleeping Lady
Mountain Retreat, Attendees will work throughout the five days in teams to innovate, plan and demonstrate new and enhanced approaches to implementing the College Readiness Standards. Beginning Monday, August 20 to Friday, August 24, TMP's third major summer event will bring together more
than eighty participants and resource experts from
Admission is competitive and geared toward teams. Team composition can vary: cross-sector (K-12, higher ed), cross-discipline, multi-school districts to name just a few possible configurations. Teams must apply and propose work plans for the week that complement TMP's core parameters and the College Readiness Standards. Eighth Annual Future Teachers Conference
Each May beginning in the year 2000, the Teachers of Tomorrow club has held an annual Future Teachers Conference. During these conferences, local educators present their best lessons and/or advice for those interested in teaching as a career. Tenth Annual Continuums of Service Conference Catching Waves: Using Engagement to Address
Critical Issues Held in Washington Campus Compact and the Western Region Campus Compact
Consortium, our partners from state compacts in Conference participants will include learners and educators from diverse constituencies: faculty, undergraduate, and graduate students; government, community agency and organization partners; student development and leadership professionals; curriculum specialists; service-learning directors, funding agency representatives; and institutional administrators, among others. Presented as
part of a panel discussion on Friday, April 13th from 4-5:30pm in

Lost in Transition II 8am—3pm at The STP involves high school mathematics teachers, community college
faculty and administrators from the Conference continued the conversations started in December 2006. Uri Treisman helped facilitate the discussion.
