Non-proctored Examinations:
Some instructors allow their students to take
unsupervised exams. This enables you to take the exam at
a location and time that is convenient for you within
the bounds of the specified due date. In the event that
an unsupervised exam is allowed, students are expected
to conduct themselves in accordance with the HONOR

include your mailing information; we are unable to
e-mail examinations to students.
- Take the exam as soon as you receive it. Plan
your time carefully so that you can complete and
mail it by the indicated deadline.
- Upon completion, mail your exam to the Distance
Education and e-Learning program office as indicated on the exam. Do not fax

responsibility of the student. The necessary steps for
taking a proctored exam are listed below:
- E-mail your proctor information to the Distance
Education and e-Learning program at
dislrn@sccd.ctc.edu . Include the name, title,
phone number, and address of your proctor.
- The exam will be mailed to your proctor as soon
as the request is received and approved.
- Plan to arrive at the testing location at least
fifteen minutes before the hour set for the
examination. Remember to bring pencil or pen and any
other supplies that may be necessary.
- Upon completing the exam, the proctor will
return your exam to the DL Office.
