Credit-by-exam - Registration
How to Register:

U.S. Mail Registration
Contact the Distance Education and e-Learning program and request an enrollment packet .

In Person
Enroll at the
Distance Education and e-Learning program office in North Plaza Building, NP 304.

Course materials will be mailed within two weeks from time of enrollment. 

Cost Of Tuition (beginning Fall 2008):

Washington State residents:

5 credits $399.00
4 credits $323.20
3 credits $247.40

Non residents / International students:

5 credits $499.00
4 credits $423.20
3 credits $347.40

Tuition costs/fees are subject to change without notice. Tuition includes a non-refundable $20.00 materials fee. Full-time fees paid by students who have been admitted to Seattle Central are not applicable to Credit By Exam courses. Courses are not covered by Federal/State Financial Aid and do not meet requirements for loan deferment purposes. Overseas students are responsible for payment of postage for proctored examinations returned to the Distance Education and e-Learning office for evaluation.

Refunds:

To drop a course and receive a refund, a student must request in writing to the Distance Education and e-Learning program Office. A full refund of tuition, less the $20.00 course fee, can be given only during the first 30 days after the enrollment date and if the examination has not been taken or mailed to the proctor. There will be no refunds after 30 days.
