Seattle Lighthouse for the Deaf-Blind - check out the program here at the Seattle Lighthouse. They have provided employment, services and support to Deaf-Blind individuals for the past 30 years, locally and nationally.

Washington Sensory Disabilities - a clearing house of online resources to support developmental and learning needs of children aged birth to 21. This website is useful for parents, education professionals, speech/language therapist, educational interpreters. National Black Deaf Advocates - The National Black Deaf Advocates (NBDA) is the oldest and largest consumer organization of deaf and hard of hearing black deaf people in the United States. The Mission of the National Black Deaf Advocate is to promote the leadership development, economic and educational opportunities, social equality, and to safeguard the general health and welfare of Black deaf and hard of hearing people.

Abused Deaf Women's Advocacy Services - read about this national organization, headquarted in Seattle, that provides services for Deaf women. ADWAS is committed to providing services to Deaf and Deaf-Blind victims of sexual assault and/or domestic violence. The mission of ADWAS is a belief that violence is a learned behavior and it should not be tolerated.

Deaf Bilingual Coalition

Deaf Bilingual Coalition - An advocacy group that promotes the basic human right of all Deaf babies and children to have language and cognitive development through to American Sign Language. Read the stories and testimonies of families with deaf children who use American Sign Language and learn about advocacy for deaf children.
