Seattle Central's Graphic Design Program Artisan Book Show
April 3 to 26
The Graphic Design program at Seattle Central Community College presents student work in book design. The exhibit is a presentation of new designs for classics to be published as special trade editions.
Design comprehensives are hand-bound and illustrated, presenting a jacket, colophon, all front-end pages, first chapter, opening second chapter and at least 16 text pages. Several examples include complete text. Book jackets and featured spreads are exhibited on the gallery walls, in addition to the printed and bound books on view.
